As from September 2012 Martin is the Local Champion for the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). He is providing Press Releases and distributing Leaflets and poster giving information about the work of the CNHC.

This body is now the most significant regulating body for the 14 major Complementary Medicine disciplines. Its significant strength is that it is separate from any Professional Association and is run by lay officials, so the public may have confidence in the effectiveness of its procedures. Its primary aim is to ensure that all practitioners it registers are trained to a National Standard, have the require level of Practice Insurance and comply with their strict Codes of Ethics and Practice.

The registrants can be checked by going to the CNHC website, www.cnhc.org.uk, and the register may be searched by name, registered number, discipline and location.
